Hi

Go to Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore - click on 'OK', then
select a date from the calendar to go back to. Preferably a date within the
last 7 days.

Did the restore not work - did you get a failure message? Or did the
restoration work, but not solve the problem? More details would be
helpful.

It's not that uncommon for restore points to be corrupt and not useful for
resetting the computer to previous dates.

Restore did not work, Also did sfc scannow with no help, tried Richard
Urbans suggestion, chkdsk c:/f, found no problems and still defrag will not
work. Seems the whole folder is messed up because clicking on anything in
the File, Action, View or Help it's slow to respond if at all.
