Reserved error (-1104)

I've been using an Access database for some time (months), and for some
reason, I now receive a "Reserved error (-1104)" whenever I try to access a
table in the database. I've tried "Compact and Repair", which didn't change
anything.

I have no idea what this means; does anyone have a suggestion ? It appears
I've completely lost my data.....

I don't know for sure, but it could be a form of corruption.
If you are lucky you can create a new db and copy in all objects.
If not, just put a backup back.
