A previous version of IE used to allow me to build up
research articles from different web pages via an icon on
the toolbar. My latest version (IE 6.0)does not have
this facility. Is there any way I can get it. I am
operating under Windows XP Home

Sounds like a plugin someone had added to your old program.

I've never seen anything like that on any standard version
of IE.

The sysadmins who managed that old system would probably
know where to find it so you can add it to your current
version.

If it came with the PC from a manufacturer, you'd have to
contact them, but good fricken' luck getting anyone who
knows or cares.

Do you mean the Related icon?
Right click the toolbar and make sure it is not locked. Select Customize
and add the button.
