requires GDI+

Tried to install windows defender on Windows 2000. Got message "This
software requires GDI+. Please load Windows 2000 security software
PreRequisite Pack". Did windowsupdate and updated everything and still get
the error...

Help!

Fount it!!! This is what you need: just extract it in your WINNT\SYSTEM32
directory before running the Windows Defender installation. It works! Enjoy

suggestion helped and I could install 'Defender' successfully. Keep up good

I had been searching for that for a while now and couldn't find it...
This kind of thing either needs more info in the error msg, or a link to the
webpage in the error... or at least some kind of info on one of the Windows
Defender webpages...
