I have two XP PRO SP2 machines, one AMD, the other P4.
Both are connected to keyboard and mouse via a KVM.
Often, in fact most of the time, but not all the time, when I first
turn things on in the AM, after the systems are up and running for a
few minutes, both the keyboard and mouse freeze. Then I have to power
down, and then power up again.
I have changed keyboard and mouse. I have eliminated the KVM. It
still happens.
This only happens once. never twice until the next day. It's almost
like the machines need to warm up or something.
What is most likely the culprit here?
