REQ: Newbie - Help removing AproposMedia

I have Googled for help but, as a non-techie, got confused... Is there a
relatively simple way of removing AproposMedia?

I have run Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, AVG and Microsoft Anti Spyware but it keeps
returning, even after doing all this in Safe Mode.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

I had the same problem yesterday. After many hours spent researching,
I found the problem. Go into the Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs
and look for ContentPlus. If it is there remove it and your problem
will go away. Much of the documnentation on the web says to look for
cxtpls. It seems the sneaky bast*%$s renamed the program. At any rate
after I removed the program, all of my scans didn't find the spyware.
