Req: hotkey inspection

Thorsten Duhn

Hello,

I just wonder if there is a tool that tells me, what application
has assigned what hotkey? There was a discussion on WinKey/Hotkey
Helper etc. some days ago, but I think none of this helps me to
see, what is already assigned.

I just had the case spending hours on stupid behavior of my system
before I found out, that fault is on DM2 after fallback to it's
default (overwriting .ini by mistake). As the system knows, what
app has assigned which key combination there must be a tool showing
this to me. (I know it's getting difficult with the hotkeys of the
active application, but desktop keys may be enough for me...)

Hotkey Detective by PC mag is very reliable. Ask and someone here might
hava a link for you as it is effectively no longer freeware.

Some products do not reliably find all the hotkeys.
