REQ: Help on "project1"

When I turn my pc on there is a "project1" running.. shows in the task
manager. I know it has something to do with Kazaa, which was taken off
my pc... I can find nothing on it.. any ideas? I END TASK on it,
which is fine.. but where and what is it and how to get rid of it.

Try Start > Run... > msconfig

Then click the "Startup" tab

Have a look for an entry( / entries) that reference(s) "project1". Uncheck
the tick by that entry, press "ok" & reboot. The "location" column contains
the information that tells you what causes the file to startup eg a registry
entry. It should also tell you where the file is located, so you can delete
it.

A full virus scan is also recommended.

Run virus and other malware scans because Project 1 could be a
trojan/keylogger.

Might bea good idea not to use internet banking or credit card purchase
until you sort this.

I got the same. It was the new virus w32.Kelvir. AVG got rid of it.
