Doesn't use a lot of system resources and is very good at catching viruses.

f-prot... 2 main reasons are it's performance (detection-wise, but it's
also a low-resource product aswell) and the rather admirable (in my
opinion) ethics displayed by it's creator...

Symantec's Antivirus. It's big, has bugs (as I'm sure many do) and can do
more bad on a computer than good sometimes.

With that all said, I very much trust it's competence at stopping
infections. I have a good working idea of how it works and how it goes
wrong, where and how to find solutions etc. which is also important.

When I get the time/inclination/virus samples to investigate other
anti-virus offerings I suspect I may change my mind.
