REQ: Does Outlook Express Have Any 'New Email' Flag? Or a Sound?

If there is new email, an 'envelope' icon becomes visible in the
Notification area of the Taskbar (extreme right-hand end of the taskbar -
also known as System Tray). As far as sound notification goes - if the
relevant option in the Tools|Options dialog box General tab is "ticked" then
a sound will be heard - assuming you have a sound card and speakers are
switched on and not set to mute.

Yes! But you have to have Outlook Express opened and/or minimized for it to
work!
