Hi to all the members,

this is my problem: I've created a video with MS PhotoStory 3 for
Windows (.wmv format), and also I've got about a thousand pictures (.jpg
format).

I'd like to make a dvd that automatically runs when inserted in any dvd
player (so not just for pc), displays a graphical title and then a menu
in which users could choose to start playing the video or browse
pictures.

Any freeware/suggest to create something like this? Do I also have to
convert the video into another format? I'm a perfect newbie concerning
this, so please help me if you can.

Thanks in advance, sorry for my rough english.

Kindly regards.

You need video *authoring* software, to make something that a DVD
player will think is a movie. (Older dvd players can't play anything
else.) It's a learning process, not just download/run/it's done. Try
forums about video authoring for help in how to do it - then choose
freeware based on the knowledge you'll have gained about what you
need. (How you do it, how I do it and how a professional does it
aren't anything alike.)

Thanks for your answer, Al :)
