REQ: Best Webcam software for Windows 2000

I was wondering if anyone any recommendations for best webcam software for
Windows 2000. My initial impression was Skype, however this program
doesn't support webcam video feeds for non-XP systems.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The best, at least as far as I've found, is Pryme
http://www.hilo.dk/pryme.php

Don't know if it works with W2k though.

There are many IP Cameras. And I barely remembered that some Digital
Camera could be used as a webcam. SO you might want to look for
alternatives than specialized items.
