I don't mean to be a pest but I am still looking for some answers. The
answer may be just reload system and if so let me know your opinion or if you
can - tell me exactly how to fix each of the errors I am getting (PS. Thanks
to all of you who spend you time helping others!)

I had problems with XP Pro rebooting before completely loading. Replaced
power supply then tried running "repair" function from cd. Would not
complete, so I replaced memory and then repair completed. Now I have the
following errors in events/system.

The DCOM Server process Launcher service hung on starting.

The Automatic LiveUpdate Scheduler service failed to start due to the
following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

The Security Center service failed to start due to the following error:
The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not
implement the service.

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
FltMgr

The HTTP service failed to start due to the following error:
The specified procedure could not be found.

The SSDP Discovery Service service depends on the HTTP service which failed
to start because of the following error:
The specified prcedure could not be found.

Other than user saved documents & settings + saving 3rd party software,an
xp "repair" functions much like a new install, how security center was saved
(SP2),id say youre repair failed.A failed repair or install usually means
wiping
the hd clean,& reinstall xp.Boot to xp cd,select,install xp,new copy,delete
the
partition,create one,then xp formats & reinstalls auto.

Thanks for the reply Andrew- I figured that would be my only choice, but was
hoping for another way.
