Go to Start, Administrative Tools, Services and verify that Machine Debug
Manager is started and the StartUp type set to Automatic.

Do you have or did you have a Logitech Keyboard? What is it's status?

Hope this helps.

The way to access Services varies according to the way users customise
Windows XP. Another route is Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools,
Services.

I think a copy of the actual Error Report from Event Viewer is needed.

Please check Event Viewer for Warning / Error Reports in the System and
Application logs for when the error occurs and post copies.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description are
important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308427&sd=tech

Part of the Description of the error will include a link, which you should
double click for further information. You can copy using copy and paste.
Often the link will, however, say there is no further information.
http://go.microsoft.com/fw.link/events.asp
(Please note the hyperlink above is for illustration purposes only)

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click
on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now
start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This
will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error Report complete with links
into the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event
Viewer.

Lkbdhlpr = Lkbdhlpr.sys. This message appears in Google:

What the heck is services.msc.js? It should be services.msc.

{0C0A3666-30C9-11D0-8F20-00805F2CD064} is the CLSID for the Machine Debug
Manager.

Disable it, I doubt very much that you need it running.

NOTE: Running the Detect and Repair feature within Office causes Mdm.exe to
be re-registered on the system.

[[The Machine Debug Manager runs as a service and is loaded when your
computer starts. If you do not use your computer for debugging purposes, you
can safely turn off the Machine Debug Manager.]]

How to turn off Machine Debug Manager in Office XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;321410

Machine Debug Manager Service
http://www.theeldergeek.com/machine_debug_manager.htm

[[Filename: mdm.exe
Program Title: Machine Debug Manager
Comments: Used by developers for debugging. Those who have encountered it
have unchecked it with no degradation in performance. May cause your
computer to "hang" if you have MS Visual Studio
installed and this disabled because it appears to take over error handling -
hence the U recommendatioon. Can also be listed as MDM7. ]]

Lkbdhlpr is Lkbdhlpr.sys, Logitech Keyboard Helper system.

Make sure that Lkbdhlpr.sys is in the %windir%\System32\Drivers folder, if
you have a Logitech Keyboard.

Automatic LiveUpdate Scheduler service (ALUSchedulerSvc.exe) is part of
LiveUpdate by Symantec Corporation (Norton). I have no idea on the problem.
