Repost: Open file error

Is there no answer to this bizarre message?

Hi Groupies:

Every time I double click to open a file I get the message "Windows can not
find c:\file path\file name. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try
again."
The file always opens but what is up with this error?

Hi!
I could not find any of your earlier threads.
Please tell what file did you open,including it's type(of contents) and
file-name extension/format.Also do mention what program does finally load to
open the file and whether that program has been set as the default one to be
associated with that file type.
Also check whether the problem occurs in other files having the same type of
content/file-format.
