Hi, I am unable to create or access any reports from my access database. I
have tryed re-installing access and this has not made any difference.

Thanks

"Reports" are just another object in a database, like tables or queries or
forms.

So, what do you expect us to advise? Are we allowed any further clues?

Chris

Every time i try to create a report, ie. i goto the report tab and select
new. nothing happens nothing appears. also if i try using the wizard to
create the report, i get to the last step in the wizard and press finish and
nothing happens. No report is created.

That any help?

That any help?Um, No. Weird but.

Is this Access 2000? Access 2000 is known to be unstable and prone to "locking
up".

Regardless, and just for a test, if you create a blank new database, can you
do things with that?

Chris

Have you selected a default printer?

If not, you really need to do so.

Excellent point. We're struggling with little info here, but when I've seen
that scenario it would bring up a suitable message. Still, my pick is that
MS-Access 2000 is "locking-up" (she doesn't put it that way, but I read it
that way). If so, it's as likely due to some fault in the "database" as the
MS-Access installation, if a distinction can be made. Obviously, I appreciate
any help in answering here...

There is no 'locking up' the report design window just does not appear. I
press the 'New' button and nothing happens.

It is Access 2003.

Thanks John
