Reports stopped working

All my reports have stopped working. I can't use the Wizard nor can I go
into Design mode. Any ideas what happened?

Phil,
Most probably... your Default Windows printer definition is missing or is wrong, or is
a printer that does not have the latest XP drivers installed.

That's the problem, thanks.

My regular (default) printer works fine with all my other applications by
not Access ("no printer" msg.) If I change the default printer then Access
recognizes it and I can select my regular printer (not default now) and I can
print to it. Any idea what's going on? (I rebooted the PC just in case, but
the problem persists.)

Thanks.

From the database window, check Tools | Options -- General tab ... Track
Name AutoCorrect. Leaving this checked had, in some versions, caused report
errors.

Phil,
I would do as Jeff suggests anyway... whether it applies to this problem or not.
Sounds like your all set with the printer straightened out... good deal.

This is getting more bizarre. When I write a new report (because I have
changed the default printer) and I reset the printer back to the default I
want (the one I used to have) the new reports don't work in the first
(default) switchboard, but do work in the branched Switchboard?????

consider deleting and reinstalling your default printer - - -( rather than
attempting to work around it by toggling between printers)

I have also run into printer driver problems affecting Reports in unusual
ways....and reinstalling the printer is needed....why? I don't know....and
why only Access - I also don't know...
