Is there somplace a report of malicious emls received can be made. I am now
receiving more than ten a day, which I recognize and do not open. Yahoo is
filtering them into a folder I have created, but new variations appear

Reporting of these things seem to be ineffective. Not only so many that
it becomes impractical, but the sources are masked/counterfeit anyway.
Keep spam protection on and just delete those that slip through. It's
going to get worse before getting better.

Too late...You're probably on many spammer's lists now. Your best solution is to obtain a new e-mail address and be sure to disguise it when posting on any Usenet newsgroups.

10 a day is nothing. About a month ago I was getting 1500 a day and had to
take special measures to filter my email.

I'm still getting about 100 a day that get through my filters.

These are being spread by methods that conceal the origin effectively.
Most frequently they are being forwarded by a machine that has been
infected, but using an apparent 'From' address that has been pulled from
its address book and would take you to someone not in the least
involved. The real nuisance is that they are so big that they fill up
mail boxes easily - the only real solutions are for the mail servers to
detect and discard them before they get anywhere, and ultimately for you
to change e-mail address.
