Hi,

Looking for some ideas how to generate a report that not just pulling
certain data field, but also group another record that having common data in
another field. Right now my report looks as shown below.

Name Address Advisor
Joe Smith 123 Main St Hogan
Jane Smith 123 Main St Gibbon

Cate Super 456 Owl Dr Tubbs
Al Super 456 Owl Dr Hogan

Eric Myer 789 Town Ln Grant
Will Myer 789 Town Ln Gibbon

How do I make as shown below break by advisor?

Name Address Advisor
Joe Smith 123 Main St Hogan
Jane Smith 123 Main St Gibbon

Cate Super 456 Owl Dr Tubbs
Al Super 456 Owl Dr Hogan

Name Address Advisor
Joe Smith 123 Main St Hogan
Jane Smith 123 Main St Gibbon

Eric Myer 789 Town Ln Grant
Will Myer 789 Town Ln Gibbon

I would like to create a report/list by advisor for instance, Hogan that has
Joe smith's sibling that has an advisor of Gibbon. My table has ln fn
advisor address and etc.

Any helps will be greatly appreciated.

Not sure I understand what you want, but try
sorting/grouping on the Advisor field.

If I sort by advisor, I will get by one advisor on the list whereas I would
like to get also the sibling's advisor because of same address. If I'm
advisor Hogan, I would like to get Joe Smith and Jane Smith. Jane's advisor
will be on my list because Joe and Jane have the same address. Then I also
get Eric Myer and Will Myer. Will's advisor will be on my list as well.
This is for scheduling parent conference. When I schedule a conference for
Joe Smith and I will coordinate with Jane's advisor, Gibbon so that the
parents come for two conferences consecutively. Right now I can generate a
report as I listed on my previous message. The report first look for
matching address then group the records together. However, how do I break it
by advisor? I hope this clears the clouds for you, Marshall. Thanks.
