Report with information from 2 queries

Is it possible to generate a report from controls from 2 separate queries.
I have a query which shows the sum of grants year-to-date and another query
showing event attendance to date. Id like to prepare report showing a
combination of the two queries.

Create a report that shows one query's results.

Create a second report that shows the other query's results.

Create a third report that connects to nothing, then add each of the other
two as "sub-reports".
