Report that should fit into one page horizontally needs three side by side

I was testing my report. It overflowed onto a second page. However, I had
to page through several pages to the right to get to Page 2. My controls
all fit into 6.5 inches. Access has letter size paper selected. I even
tried increasing the margins by .2 inches on each side.

This is a margin issue. Rather than increasing the margins, try decreasing
them to get it all to fit on the page.

Oops. I meant decreasing. The left and right margins are now .8 inchs
each. Any other suggestions.

Well, I think that the problem started because I used one of the Wizards. I
should have started with a blank report. There were enough fields,
including some that accommodated 255 characters, that Access allocated all
that space thinking that a tabular report was the only useful type.
However, I had to imitate a paper form. This form used two lines per record
and put the labels with the field. Each field has a box around it. I was
able to match the entire form including using lines to divide the records
into boxes. (Lines rather than rectangles were used as the boxes met.)

Now that I have the report formatted, is there a way to convince Access that
the report fits into one page. I reduced the left and right margins all the
way down to .5" each. It still does not fit. If Access will not do that,
can I copy everything over to a blank report to fix the problem?
