Report runs query on print

For some reason when I go to print my report, it runs the queries again. Is
this supposed to happen, the data is already on the page? Why would it need
to get the data again? This means that every time I want to view my report
before I print it all 6 queries that build the report will be run two times,
once to view it, and once to print it. Is there a solution to this?

Yes: that's normal behavior.

If you don't want to run the queries twice, just print the report without
previewing it.

One more question. A report cant export subforms to word? I tried to export
the report to rich text format and it told me that reports can't export
subforms. Is there a way around this.

If you cannot use subreports, you might be able to design a query that draws
all the data you need (the fields you currently have in the main report and
in the subreport) from multiple tables.

Then use the Sorting And Grouping box (in report design) to create the group
headers and footers you need for the fields currently in your main report,
and the Detail section for the fields currently in your subreport.

That's not always suitable, but worth a shot.

I knew there was a reason I never spent any time on reports, they are pretty
much useless if your good at making forms.
