report page width problems

I have read all the posts related to "section width is greater than page
width". However, nothing seems to correct my problem. Here are the
particulars, I'm working with.
Access 2002
Margins:top .6, bottom .5, left .5, right .5 Portrait orientation
The top page ruler has the report set at 5.5
When I preview the report in 2 page view, I see the blank page but no data
or lines that I can shorten or adjust.

Help!!!? Any suggestions.

Your widths seem fine, so perhaps it is the section heights that is the
problem?

Open the report in design view.
Remove any sections you are not using, e.g. by clicking Report Header/Footer
on the View menu if you don't need those sections.
Minimize the height of the remaining sections (such as Detail).

You could also check that you've asked for a single column only, on the
Columns tab under:
File | Page Setup
While you're there, check that the Paper Size is 'Letter' on the Page tab.
