Working with Access 2007 and let me say, It's a bitch.

Is there an easier way to move "controls" rather than "removing" them from
the layout and re positioning them?? boy I liked the old method better.

Secondly, trying to "Page Break" when a "Clock Number" field changes. Cant
find that at all Want to put each "Clock Number" on it's own report page
with headers etc...

Thanx..

Hi Tom,

What I do about the control layouts is to select them all and remove
the layout (Report Design Tools, Arrange ribbon, Remove in the Control Layout
section). Is that what you want? Better if it just did not apply a layout
to begin with. Anyone know how to do set that?

For the second item you need to do the grouping. It is found in the
Report Design Tools, Design ribbon, Grouping & Totals section.

I'd figured the "remove" feature onm the controls... Was looking for
something that worked globally rather than field to field. If a way to not
set a layout is known that would be the ticket.

Tried setting a group but it isn't doin what I wanted....

Thanx

Hi Tom,

If you drag a selection rectangle over/through all of the fields, you
can do it all at once.

So did you group by Clock Number? When grouping, you can click on the
More item in the Group, Sort and Total window pane to set some additional
items such as group header and footer. Then try setting the Force New Page
property for the group footer to something other than None. Sometimes you
have to play around with that setting on the group header and group footer to
get exactly what you want.

Hope that helps,

Hi Tom,

You are welcome. It took me quite a while and a lot of frustration to
get up to speed.
