I would like to know if anyone knows how to create a organization flow chart
from access? Can I peform this within access? or can I have Visio access a
querry in access and import it into an existing template? I have some
experience in the creating reports.

Basically I would like to create a org chart with a manager or managers at
the top level and have several columns of employees listed below the manger
level.

Manager
|
Employee1 Employee 2
employee info employee info
| |
Employee3 Employee 4
employee info employee info

or
Manager1 Manager2
|
|
Employee1 Employee 2 Employee3 Employee 4
employee info employee info employee info employee
info

|
Employee5 Employee 6 Employee7 Employee 8
employee info employee info employee info employee
info

Visio has a nice wizard in the Org Charts template that will allow you to
hook up to an Access database (not sure which version of Visio this started
in. I have 2002). You can create an org chart file in Visio and then drop it
back into an Access report using Insert>Object.
