outlook 2003
exchange server 2000

We have employees who are not on our server but use the same domain name in
their email. If we try to send email to them it comes back because the
server can't find them because they aren't part of our domain. They have
alias email addresses for us to use but we can't use the reply button this
way. Is there a way to set up a rule when an email comes in from one address
reply to a different address.

the server can be configured to send unresolved mail to another server or
you could create user accounts that forward the mail to another server. are
the alias accounts user accounts or contacts in the gal?

The alias accounts are not user accounts and I don't know what a gal is?
They are outside sales people that do not connect to our server at all.

But your server should be able to be configured to redirect those messages
to their "real" addresses. Ask in
