reply all does not include sender

James

Greetings,
Using Outlook 2002 SP-1 and connecting to exchange 2000.

When using reply-all the senders address is no longer included as a
recipient.

Is there a way to get this behavior back ?

I was informed that this behavior was not native to outlook, however, I
was able to find
software to disable this function. This would seem to indicate that the
inclusion
of the senders address in reply-all is something that is available in
Outlook.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
James

It often shows up when you are not connected to Exchange and in some other
situations so that is why there is an add-in for this to control it. Why
would you want to sent a message to yourself anyway?

This is how an end user manages their email.
For them, this is desirable behavior.

Accomplishing the difficult is certainly easier than
getting an end user to change their behavior.

You can also set a message rule to always sent a message to yourself as
well; same effect and you can't forget ;-)

do they have two accounts in the profile? That usually confuses outlook into
not knowing who 'me' is.

If they want a copy of the messages they send, they should enable saving to
the "Sent Items" folder.
