Running xp home edition. Why is it that all my down loaded news groups
instead of having an + along side each message as it always used to be,
now
has a complete series of - which as you know are the replies to questions
asked. Advice please. TL

Tools|Options|Read tab, Automatically Expand Grouped Messages check box.

uncheck "Automatically expand grouped messages.
