I`m not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I
can`t read ANY of the replies to posts.
I get "message unavailable" when I try to read replies.
I can read the original posts, but not the replies.

Hi, Gary. Part of your problem is that you are using the web interface.
Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are
some links to information about newsgroups to broaden your posting
pleasure!

Greetings --

Try using a real news reader to directly access the Usenet.
People who use any web browser to access these news groups via the
deplorable, web-based CDO on Microsoft's Communities web site have
been reporting problems since yesterday. I suspect that Microsoft is
experiencing some sort of server problem.

Gary,
It was apparantly MS having a problem. May be one of the
two new viruses out last week. My ISP server was down this
weekend also. I am on the web/newsgroup. I get alot less
viruses then what may come with the e-mail access to the
newsgroups.

Newsgroups are NOT "email" and you only get a virus by opening an
attachment.
