In our organization we are running W2K Pro workstations with NT4 as our
server in our network, when we receive hotfixes/service packs/patches from
our head office server they make it to the local server but stops there and
is not picked up by the workstations running W2K Pro, the instructions I've
received in the past have simply been "Once the local server has the update,
all workstations on the network must be rebooted and logged onto the network
to pick up the new hotfix etc..." This has not happened. Any suggestions?

Thanks

There's no native functionality with NT4 server that can enable Windows 2000
to pick up hotfixes. It sounds like something your head office has
implemented to distribute the hotfixes, so the solution would lie with them.
