REPLICATION FAILURE

I am receiving a message that "The authentication service
is unknown" I cannot find anything that addresses this or
offers a fix. Meanwhile the DC's are not communicating.
I have verified that DNS is working fine, however, they
will not replicate the database. Any suggestions
