I was curious if anyone new how plaxo is integrated into outlook. I
was looking to do something similar.

Plaxo isn't really integrated into Outlook at all, AFAIK.

Note, I automatically delete all plaxo/related messages, and advise my
clients to do the same. Who controls that database of addresses, and how
secure is it? I get enough spam as is.

ditto...

Actually that is why I want to know why it works. I want to do the
same but with an internal database. From what I saw of it, it is the
easiest to use, hence my interest in how it works
