replacing windows 2000 PDC

George

Hi,
I have to replace the PDC on my windows 2000 network. I
have two additional member servers and an Exchange 2000
server running on separate computers. Once the new PDC is
up and running I want to remove the current one from the
network.
Is there is step by step procedure to do it? Could
someone point me to the right direction?

Bring up the 2nd domain controller (dcpromo), transfer fsmo roles, dcpromo
the other one down then cleanup the computer account of the one you're
retiring.
