Replacing DC

We have Win2k Advanced Server on 2 DC's. I want to replace one of the DC's
with a new server. 2 questions:
1. Can I replace it with a Windows 2003 server?
2. Can someone point me to where I can read "how to" for replacing a domain
controller.

Thank you.

Forget question #2 as I found the answer. For #1, can the 2003 server be a
2nd DC?

Yes you can replace it with Windows Server 2003. You will have to run
adprep /domainprep and adprep /forestprep in order to make Active Directory
compatible with Windows Server 2003. For more information you may go to
Microsoft Knowledge Base article 309628
