Replacing a HP C4550 ?

B

Booklet

Hi,
We have a HP c4550 that we bought about 6 years ago, (doesn't time fly !)
We keep having to change all sorts of kits (and the yellow toner) even thogh
we don't use it intensively.
I can't give any exact figures because no one here keeps track on that.

I keep thinking it would maybe be cheaper for us to dump it and get a new
similar machine.

Does that make sense ?
Is there some place on the web that will let me calculate (simulate) how I
stand to win or lose in this kind of operation ?

Thanks

I cannot answer your question directly, but can refer you to HP's page yield
website were you could compare yields (and thus, indirectly, running costs)
for various HP printers. See:

Hi Bob,
thanks for the info.
This pageyield page, (that's a new one on me,) seems to be about injet
printers.
My query is specifically about laser colour printers/

Strange, the page I got to allowed you to select laser colour printers as an
option.

Yep ! you're right.
There is a list of laser printers, but there's only 14 models listed and my
C4550 isn't there.
