Replacement scanner lamps?

Dr H

I'm trying to find a replacement bulb for an IBM 0275-001 flatbed scanner,
and have had zip luck locating one either on the Web or over the phone.
On-line searches have turned up mostly places which specialize in home
lighting.

I called IBM's parts and service center and they don't even have a part
number -- their policy is to replace the whole scanner if it's under
warranty, which of course it isn't.

This scanner has certain features which I haven't been able to find in
any other scanner, and I'd really like to replace the lamp and keep
using it.

Anybody have any idea where one goes to get a replacement scanner lamp?

Thanks.

Do a search on www.google.com for "Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp".

I found these cold cathode lamp kits.

And this company, they may have the very lamp you need. Take your scanner
apart and get the number from the lamp.

Found a reference manual online:

There was a thread on that subject a few years ago. Long link.

Your shorter link is: http://makeashorterlink.com/?K341264E5
