Replacement for Novell Application Launcher (NAL)

We are in the middle of our Novell NDS to ADS migration. We haven't found a replacement for the Novell Application Launcher. Does anyone have a replacement for NAL on the Windows side of things?

I am not looking for pushing apps to the desktop. We would add a user to a Group in Novell and then they could have an icon appear in their NAL window based on that group membership. This way was can give access to reports and databases based on group memebership.

Any ideas?

Let me know,

Nathan

Greetings --

I've never heard of any equivalent functionality available on a
Microsoft network, I'm afraid. While they're gaining ground,
Microsoft is still a few years behind Novell when it comes to
providing the sort of capabilities one would expect on a
server-centric, directory-based network.

Hi,

If you are looking for something to replace your starmenu and desktop icons you can take a look at the following

I guess you'd describe it as a client / server icon deployment system

We are a law firm and use the software so we can keep our systems locked down
