Running Dell 4700; Pentium 4CPU 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz, 0.99GB of RAM.
Windows installed on two drives, the 80g & 120g. Do I need to uninstall
windows from one drive so that windows is only on one drive? I've turned the
250g drive off and that has made little or no difference. I've run the defrag
for both working drives. They each have min. 15% free space.
Any help would be appreciated.

Only one copy of windows is ever loaded; thus having more than one around
only wastes space.
It isn't surprising that merely turning off an unused disk makes no
difference.

You need to tell the specs of the disks. The amount of cache memory on a
disk makes a very large difference in its performance. (for example)
