replace "show desktop" quick launch icon?

I lost my "show desktop" quick launch icon and was
wondering how to restore it. Thanks for your help
 
That could come in handy, Jim, many thanks! But I don't
actually lose the icon, it just keeps changing between
those two different Show Desktop icons. It seems like the
Show Desktop icon & the IE icon are the two icons on the
whole computer I can't change. Is that correct?
 
SORRY! Thought I was responding to a problem I posted
earlier on practically the same topic! SORRY!
 
Create a new shortcut with the following path:

"C:\Documents and Settings\****\Desktop\Show Desktop.scf"

Put your username in place of the ****.

I can't say, have you tried TweakUI to set icons/repair
icons?

Find TweakUI for XP [PowerToys]
