Replace SCSI HD with SATA ones

Hi,
I want to upgrade my SCSI HD to SATA ones. After replacing the hardware, I
re-install the XP and then restore the full system backup back to the new HD.
The new XP can boot but always reboot automatically. It seems that it still
try to seek the SCSI drivers. It is really too difficult to reinstall and
configure all softwares. Is there a way to solve this prblem? Thanks for
your advice.

Full System Backup?
Do you mean you restored the old registry & settings?
ie the pointers to the old hw
Run a repair installation of winxp
NB Depending on your mobo & your sata controler you may need to F6 early in
the install process to install sata raid drivers from floppy
The mobo manual should state whether this is req.
