Replace existing file

I'm using Word 2003 and I accidently hit 'okay' to replace existing file
message. Is there anyway I can recover the old file that I replaced?

Not if you've closed that file. Undo is a way around (you undo any changes
you've made and do a Save As the original file name) but once it's closed,
it's gone.
