Replace drive 0

I have a Dell computer with a bad primary EIDE
controller.Dell sent me a new hard drive. I have xp
operating system. Do I have to call MS when changing my
drive 0.

Hello

No just install the new drive and then get out your restore cd's
and reloadd your pc. It may ask you to register but no big deal.
