Repeat updates

Daily I get an 'automatic update' from Microsoft for the
following two items:

"Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB824105)"
and
"817787: Security Update Windows Media Player 7.1"

I install these updates, but the next day I get the same
updates automatically...

What am I doing wrong?!?!?!?!

Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

I also get a repeating automatic update but for
Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components
(823718)

I've been getting that problem as well, also with
Security Update 823718, and it doesn't matter
whether it is installed from the auto update or
the web site. According to the Windows Update
Installation History this particular patch has been
successfully installed 19 times on my machine!!
What gives? If it was successfully installed, why
does it keep coming back? If not why wont it work?
