Repeat last few slides

I am using Powerpoint 2007. I have a presentation set up so we manually
advance them as we go through our naration, at the end of our presentation,
we go into a question and answer phase. During this time I have about 9
slides to get to go on screen then automatically advance to the next slide, I
can set this up to happen. But, once it goes thru the 9 slides, I want it to
repeat the same slides, this is where I need the help. How do I get the
sequence of slides to repeat, without the whole presentation repeating?

A little lost,
Set the show to repeat till you press escape (Slide show - setup show). Put
those 9 slides in a custom slideshow (Slide show - custom shows), and link
to that custom show using an action button or any other object on the last
slide. That should do what you want.

Luc, I tried what you said, but I guess I need a little more detailed
instructions. I set up the custom show but dont know how to set up the link
to activate it.

In Edit mode, right click an object on the last slide in the main part of
your presentation. Select "hyperlink". Once the Hyperlink dialog opens,
select "Place in this document" from the left side of the dialog. Scroll the
middle part of the dialog down to the bottom of the list. Select your custom
show. Click OK. To start the show, click the object in show mode.

(Or... If you want the custom show to activate on mouse over instead of
click, select "action settings" from the right click menu. Go to the Mouse
Over tab. Find the link selection on that list. Check it. From the drop down
list, select the show you want to jump to.)

Kathy, Thanks for your time on this. Do I go into Edit mode thru the custom
slide show button, If so, it doesnt give me the option to select "hyperlink".
Sorry im not a little more familiar with the 2007 version of PowerPoint.

Edit mode is what your in when your creating text, images to put into your
PowerPoint presentation. it is the default mode when you open PowerPoint.
Like Katy says, right click any object on your last slide, and follow her
instructions,

If you're a little lost you might want to use Insert > shapes to insert an
action button with the right pointing arrow (next) This will jump you
straight into the action / hyperlink dialogue. Just change the hyperlink to
"next slide" to "custom show"
