I pressed r at the windows setup screen to repair. Then i went to the dos
screen. from there i entered my admin pass and now wat do i do from here?
Thank you for your concern

I believe if you type help ? it will show you all the commands you can use.
I just did this because I keep getting error messages when windows started
and went into chkdsk mode.
I used the repair mode and typed chkdsk c: /r and it ran chkdsk correctly
and fixed all my disk problems.

Hope that helps

What's the problem and what are you trying to do? It's not an automated
repair function. It has a limited set of commands to do basic things
such as check the disk, replace files, partition a drive, fix the master
boot record and boot files, etc. You have to know what you want to do,
it won't tell you what to do.

Within XP from Start | Help and Support search on Recovery Console for
detailed information about it.

Perform the repairs that you intended performing when you entered the
Recovery Console.
