Edwards suggestion will most likely bring back the virus if it works.
However, if you removed the virus properly you should have removed all
System Restore Points so his suggestion should not work.
Do you have a name for the trojan?
What are you trying to install? What error messages are you getting? At
what point is the install process failing?
Try Start, Run, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes and hit Enter.
