Repairing Help and Support

Windows Xp sp2 on a Toshiba Notebook. Service cannot start because it cannot
find the module. Also on the same computer under appearance advanced, I
cannot get the color schemes to appear for Windows Classic.
Is there a way to fix this without doing a complete repair install?
Thanks

a repair installation instead of
a clean installation would not
be a bad idea and better then trying to
nit pik dysfunctional system
files as they slowly reveal themselves..

it is likely, that you only discovered
2 problems, but i wouldn't doubt
there may be many more.....
