I have a user who has been auto-archiving for a while in Outlook 2000 and
his archive.pst file has grown to over 2 GB. When he tries to open his
archive folder he gets the error "Unable to expand the folder...Quit all
mail-enabled applications...run inbox repair tool."
So I run the scanpst.exe program against it and it always fails at step 7 of
8 (checking files and folder) at 37%. I cant compact it because I get the
above error when I try to do anything w/ it.
Is there any hope of recovering this archive.pst file?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
