Repair WinXp sp2 installation using the original cd WinXp sp1

I've recently installed Winxp Home sp1 and sp2 from Microsoft updates and IE
7 finally. Due to some problems (malfunctions) i intend to repair the Windows.
Can I repair the installation booting from CD (changing the booting sequense
in Setup)
using the original cd Winxp Home sp1 or not ?
