Repair IE in XP SP2

My IE keeps crashing on certain sites...especially if they open javascript
windows
how do I repair this??

Might need a bit more info to help....what do you mean by "crashing"? Error
messages? Screen freezes?What version of Windows and IE are you using?

In any case, if you suspect JavaScript is the issue, then reinstalling your
scripting engines might help:

IE screen freezes and does nothing.
I have to end task on it to make it close
using XP SP 2
